Surgery July 3rd

Eva will be having surgery on July 3rd. I feel so terrible. We have kept her away from other people as much as possible because we do not want her sick and surgery to be rescheduled. The surgery will be with both the plastic surgeon and the ENT. I am so glad that we will have her palate fixed but terrified to see my baby hurt.

We really like both of her doctors and I believe she will be in good hands. Please keep us in your thoughts.

She is having significant behavioral problems in public. I really hope it is just because she is 2 but the way she acts it is almost impossible to take her into any store at all.

New dates

Ok we have a date for surgery with the doctor we love. It will be on July 3rd at 8 am! I am so excited and terrified! I am so worried about her surgery. I know she will be fine but I worry!

Today I took her into the bathroom and took off her clothes. I ran a trickle of water in the tub with no stopper. She put her hands in it and played and then I moved her onto the tub and she did not scream. I slowly poured water on her and she laughed!!! Laughed I tell you! I was able to wash her hair too! She played in the tub for about an hour. I swear it is a miracle which may never be repeated but it happened!

Sorry for the long abscence

We have been busy. We had a great time getting together with all of the family in Georgia.

We are STILL trying to get pumpkin scheduled for surgery. I am so angry about it I cannot even talk about it.

Pumpkin has decided that she must be up from about 1-3 am ever night! I swear I am so tired I should not even be able to drive.

She has also decided to hug and kiss all on her own. She will just walk up to me and hug me and kiss me. Now you might think the first spontaneous hug and kiss would got to her mom. You know the mom who gets up with her and rocks her for 2 hours in the middle of the night but nope. The first hug and kiss went to Elmo. She went to the TV and tried to wrap her arms around it and kissed the screen.

She has gained a pounds since we got home from grammies. She has sprained my wrist and pulled something in N's back while moving around during tantrums.

She loves....LOVES the word NO! She says it to us about 100 times a day for pretty much everything! I cannot wait until she learns another word!
