The new picture

Ok so P and mom said that this is probably a newer picture of Evie. They think she is about 9 months or so. I am going to put both pictures together and yall let us know what you think.

Copy of our documents

Today we got a copy of the documents sent to China. It weighed about 2 lbs! I was looks at them and in one of the folders was a little picture of Evie we had not seen before. It is kinda beat up but you can see she has the most adorable scrumptious BIG ears! And would you just look at that adorable chin!!! She is such a little cutie!

Come on TA!!!

Documents Delivered

Our documents have been delivered!!!! Now we wait. I really hope to travel around Christmas but I guess we are going to have to wait and see.

Wake me up in December!

By the time I wake up tomorrow our documents will have been delivered! I wish we could get on a plane in the morning but since we have to wait I propose sleep until December!

We are so glad to be done with the paperchase but the wait is going to be very tough!

DTC Today!

Documents to China! After 4 and 1/2 months our documents went to China today. Now we will be waiting for travel approval - which averages 75 days, but some people get it in 50, some over 100... hope that we don't have to wait that long...

We didn't check our email before Tammy picked me up from work, and we were worried that it hadn't gone out today for some reason. We ate at Don Pablo's Mexican restaurant and I tried to call Harrah's on my cell phone while we were waiting on our food... They closed at 3 PM though, so I wasn't able to ask if our documents got sent today. We worried the whole time we ran errands until we got home - but the email was here waiting for us!

Last document on its way to the agency!!!!

Our 171h is on its way to the agency!!! WOOHOO!!!! We are so excited. We should make it for DTC this Friday September 15!! It will have been 4 and a half moths of crazy running around but we have almost finished!!

We spent Friday night at the toy store and lets just say N had a great time lol. We went looking for small toys to take with us in china. We also looked at how big the package of diapers happen to be lol. I believe the weight limit for the suitcases is 44lbs each and it is going to be tough. We will have to pack for 3 people and 2 seasons and I believe like 12-14 days. We will be able to buy baby things on the second part of our trip but I am worried we will not be able to get all of the things we need in the first city.

As you can see I have already started making the packing list lol. And a huge thanks to P for the wonderful list you sent me awhile back with all of the things we need!! I have started to buy some of the meds we will take with us for both the baby and us.

My new fear...........is the squatty potties!!!!! Google it with images and be afraid....be very afraid!!!!

Shopping!

So I had a coupon for TCP(The Children's Place) and we went to look for tights for Evie. They had this very cute corduroy skirt and shirt on sale. They had it in green(my favorite), pink and orange. N loved the orange and so we bought it! I love the little orange tights with the little flowers! She is going to look like a little oompah-loompah. But her baba wanted this color!

Today Evie is 16 months old. Wow!

Today I am going to FedEx the last few things our agency needs. Picture pages, visa photos, TB test results, passport copies, and the huge whopping check lol. It is the last part of our agency fee and well it was a little hard to write lol. I get scared when I have to add more than 1 or 2 zeros.

The courier will be taking our 171 on Thursday September 7th and then she will overnight it to the agency. They should get it on Tuesday September 12th and we should be DTC on Friday September15th!

Now once they receive all of our documents we wait for TA(travel approval). Now this can come any time but the average is about 74 days or so. Some people wait 50ish days and some 90ish days. We are praying for TA at the end of November so we can travel around Christmas but we will most likely not travel until January.

After we are DTC we can ask for an update and might be able to send her a package. I am not sure yet about the package and will ask the agency after we are sure we make the 15th DTC date. If we miss it then we would be DTC September 29th.

Now for school. I hate my classes lol. I was spoiled by the 3 week break and to be honest I cannot focus on anything but Evie. N is not too sure about his classes yet because they may have more math than he would like to do.
